Your weekly medication routine
- Keep one current, written list of every medication, dose, and time — including over-the-counter pills and supplements
- Use a weekly pill organizer and fill it the same day each week
- Store medicines in one place, away from heat and moisture
- Check expiration dates and safely dispose of anything old or discontinued
- Bring the full list to every appointment and pharmacy visit
- Ask the pharmacist to review all medications together at least once a year
